The Feather River continues to provide incredible action, but the Striper spawn is here. Monday, May 1st we had our last day ftrips aging the high flows, the fishing was very good. Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect when DWR cut the Oroville releases to less than 10,000 CFS. However, Last night I had an evening trip, we boated 20-30 Bass in a few short hours. We watched many schools of spawning fish on the surface. We released three good sized hens, and took home our limits of schoolies sized fish. This action won't last forever, I have a few dates available for the next coming weeks. Come join me and enjoy this action on the Feather River.
