California Striped Bass action continues to hold wide open!

Fishing action on the Feather River and Sacramento River continues to run strong. I’ve ran guided trips on both river with lots of action. The action on the Feather River is great, with live bait and working swim baits being my two main tactics. The Sacramento River, North and South of Colusa, has produced fish with both swim baits and live bait, however live bait has been key to productions big numbers. Action should stay strong throw early May. If you’d like to get on the water please don’t wait, these fish will spawn and return to the ocean soon.
