April Striped Bass Fishing is wide open.
Striped Bass season is here and action is outstanding. I had expected the beginning of April to kick off with great action; however, that was not the case. It took an extra week for it to get rolling, but now the fishing is great. The Feather River and Sacramento Rivers have stabilized and will continue to produce lots of fish. Consistent 18"-28" fish are being boated daily. With water temps being in the mid 50s, I have been targeting these Stripers with live bait. Live bait is a very easy tactic, it is great for novice fishermen. As the water temps creep toward the 60s I will begin to start casting plastics such as swimbaits and rubber worms. If you'd like to get out on the water please contact me to get a trip schedule. All gear, tackle, and bait is provided. As well as fish cleaning at the end of your trip.
